10/10 “perfect place ”
Cargese’s place was perfect for my family of 4 (2 kids). We liked that we could section off the bedroom and or bathroom with the sliding pocket doors to keep an overly curious 2 yr old in one area. The elevator is a bit small, as we could only fit my wife, 2 kids, and a stroller within that space. But that was fine with me as I got some good exercise going up/down 6 floors of stairs. With pizza, pasta, gelato, and wine being the major food staples...those extra steps are necessary! The host is very hospitable. We had complications with our flight and arrived past the check-in time, but they were accommodating and made sure someone was there just after we arrived. At our request, they also arranged a last minute pickup from the airport to the apartment. When we walked in, we were greeted with some cookies, bottles of juice, a bottle of water, and some Nespresso pods to get us started. The bathroom was conveniently equipped with body wash and shampoo/conditioner. The area around the apartment seems safe, and is very close to all the major spots; either on foot or by Metro (Spagna). The Spanish Steps is literally a minutes walking distance away and if you’re a shopper w deep pockets or don’t mind being in serious debt, the high end brands are nearby as well. Having a McDonald’s and McCafe right below us for a quick fix was also a plus. All in all, great place, great location, perfect hosts. Don’t hesitate with this one.

Terrific location. Food options galore. Sarah was an angel in coordinating arrival on Christmas. Host arrival information is very helpful.
